Healthcare

In my practice, I see children, teens and adults - all kids 3 to 93. Patients come to me with wide a variety of mental health problems. I have extensive experience treating the more common problems, such as anxiety, panic, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Bipolar, mood swings, depression, and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD). I also have considerable experience treating less common problems, such as tics, Tourettes, eating disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and psychosis - to name a few.

The main focus of my practice is evaluation, diagnosis, treatment suggestions, and medication management of psychiatric disorders. I am open minded to alternative and nutritional therapies as well; I am not an expert in these areas, but I am a believer. I am not a counselor. Although I like to understand your life story and the context in which your symptoms occur, our time is limited to looking at how medication and lifestyle changes can help you regulate your symptoms. Generally we work together to decide what would be the most helpful strategy regarding counseling and a referral is made to a community therapist to fit a person's particular need.

Covid-19 Policies

We are offering telehealth visits for established patients. In-office visits are scheduled allowing extra time in-between appointments to minimize the number of people in the office at any given time. Surfaces are wiped down and sprayed multiple times a day. Hand washing facilities and hand sanitizer are readily available. Masks are encouraged when in the presence of others and when social distancing is not possible. Due to the nature of our patient population, masks are not mandatory. Masks are available upon request. We ask patients to limit to one person accompanying to an appointment. While in the office we ask social distancing be respected.

If you have had a known exposure to Covid 19 in the last two weeks, are symptomatic, or not feeling well in general, please do not enter the office. Appointments can be rescheduled or conducted through telehealth.
